Job Summary
As a Band 6 SCPHN School Nurse, you will be part of a team that transforms health and care in Lancashire. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children and young people by promoting health, wellbeing, and providing essential care.

Main Duties
As a SCPHN School Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering the Healthy Child Programme, including assessment of health needs and development of care plans.
- Participating in effective partnership working with other agencies and taking a lead professional role where appropriate.
- Developing individualized care plans for each child based on a needs assessment, actively involving the child/parent/carer/family in the planning and implementation of care.
- Using evidence-based practice to develop and maintain a high-quality standard for Specialist Public Health Nurse/School Nursing practice.
