Overview

Are you seeking to provide healthcare interventions to individuals impacted by substance use who are homeless?

We are recruiting a Street Healthcare Outreach Nurse to cover Kingston, working with a compassionate organisation that believes in people and delivers healthcare to those most in need.

This is a new project commissioned by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to evaluate evidence of what works to end rough sleeping and reduce homelessness.

The post holder will be embedded within outreach services, offering healthcare and clinical interventions as appropriate to the homeless population, as directed by the Lead Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical services to individuals experiencing homelessness.
  • Develop and implement innovative clinical interventions to improve health outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with outreach teams to deliver healthcare interventions.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with homeless populations.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare interventions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Salary Range: £43,814.50 - £48,183.48 (pro rata for part-time hours).
Inner London Weighting: £4,072.06 (pro rata for part-time hours).

Location: Kingston, based from our Ealing office.

Contract Type: Fixed-term contract until February 2026.
