Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, specialized clinical pharmacy services to our inpatient community health wards.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious pharmacist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide medicines-related information to patients and carers, and participate in consultant-led ward rounds to support the medicines optimisation agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, specialized clinical pharmacy services to inpatient community health wards
  • Participate in consultant-led ward rounds to support the medicines optimisation agenda
  • Update and review relevant SOPs and guidelines to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medicines
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good Pharmacy Honours degree (BPharm or MPharm)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in clinical pharmacy
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Substantial post-registration experience as a practising pharmacist
  • Substantial experience in a general clinical/hospital pharmacy, including ward-based clinical work
