Warhead Surety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Warhead Surety Engineer to join our team at Atomic Weapons Establishment. As a key member of the Enhanced Nuclear Safety Team, you will play a vital role in developing new technologies and products that enhance the safety, security, and dependability of current and future product systems.
In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists to develop innovative solutions. You will be responsible for functional verification and validation testing/trials, as well as mechanical engineering and design (including CAD, engineering analysis & drawing).
The successful candidate must possess a strong degree or equivalent in an Engineering or Science-related discipline, with a deep understanding of Systems Engineering methods and techniques. A postgraduate degree such as MSc, MEng, and PhD is highly desirable.
