Chevron Traffic Management is a leading provider of traffic management services, with a strong focus on safety and innovation. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Traffic Management Operative Trainee to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses.
  • Maintenance of temporary traffic lights
  • Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying: cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment
  • Helping and guiding new trainees, once qualified

Requirements

  • Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have been expired for at least 5 years
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol test your offer will depend on the outcome of this
  • Positive "can-do" attitude
  • Adaptability and Flexibility
  • Meticulous attention to detail

Working Hours

General hours of work are 40 hours per week with overtime opportunity. Hours and shift patterns tend to fall on days; however, you may be also required to work evenings, nights and weekends. You will also be required to be on the on-call rota especially if you have the use of a company van.
