The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday, with a mix of morning and afternoon shifts. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit (EDU) at Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Clyde Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking on-the-job induction and completing departmental competencies.
  • Completing statutory and mandatory training, including HCSW standards.
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced environment with good communication skills and manual dexterity.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, applicants should have:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work well within a team environment.
  • A working knowledge of basic information technology.

We are reducing our full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff. However, some service areas may require temporary adjustments to working patterns.
