Endoscopy Decontamination Specialist

The Endoscopy Decontamination Unit (EDU) at Inverclyde Royal Hospital is seeking a skilled technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the decontamination, disinfection, assembly, packaging, and distribution of reusable flexible endoscopes in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
Key requirements for this role include a minimum of one year's experience working in an endoscopy decontamination unit or sterile services unit. The ideal candidate will possess effective communication skills, manual dexterity, and a working knowledge of basic IT.
Responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking on-the-job induction and completing departmental competencies
- Completing statutory and mandatory training, including HCSW standards
- Working effectively in a team environment and possessing the ability to carry out assigned tasks in a busy environment
