Health and Safety Officer

Job Summary
Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Officer to join our team. As a SHEQ Professional, you will be responsible for promoting a safe working culture and ensuring compliance with SHEQ legislation across our construction and utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective SHEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Conduct site visits and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver training workshops and coaching sessions to staff on SHEQ best practices.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SHEQ integration into business operations.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate.
- Experience working in the construction and/or utilities sector.
- H&S risk management experience.
- Experience in training, coaching, and presenting to staff.
- UK driving license is essential.
