The Independent Healthcare Providers Network Limited is a leading membership network for independent healthcare providers. We deliver a diverse range of services to NHS and private patients across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Policy to join our team. This critical role will lead on all aspects of policy development and implementation work, ensuring that the organization's policy positions are reflective of member views and have maximum impact in the policy-making environment.

Estimated Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

  • Lead on policy development and implementation work, liaising closely with stakeholders to ensure policy positions reflect member views.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government departments, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
  • Provide expert advice on policy matters, helping the organization to achieve its goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in UK health policy, identifying opportunities for the organization to influence policy debates.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in policy development and implementation, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of UK health policy and its application to the private healthcare sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
