About the Role

As a Research Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the School of Psychology and Neuroscience's research initiatives. You will be responsible for designing and fabricating novel research apparatus, as well as contributing to the planning and delivery of projects in the areas of digital and analogue electronic equipment.

You will work closely with staff and students to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Your ability to think creatively and outside the box will be essential in driving the success of these projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electronics and microcontrollers, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. A minimum of an HND (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering or allied subjects is required, along with relevant experience in a similar field.

This role offers a competitive salary of £31,387 - £36,924 per annum, depending on experience. The University also offers a range of benefits, including annual leave, pension scheme membership, and access to training and development opportunities.
