We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineering Specialist to join our team at the University of St Andrews. This role will involve providing technical support for world-leading teaching and research in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronic engineering, with experience in designing and fabricating novel research apparatus. They will contribute to the planning and delivery of projects, working closely with staff and students to deliver innovative solutions.

As a Technical Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our researchers, helping them to design and build new equipment. You will also contribute to the development of new technologies and innovations within the School.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 3 years' experience in electronics engineering, ideally with experience in microcontroller-based systems such as Arduino. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
