Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Equipment Technician to join our team at the University of St Andrews. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing digital and analogue electronic equipment, working closely with staff and students on project planning and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop digital and analogue electronic equipment using microcontrollers (e.g. Arduino)
  • Collaborate with staff and students on project planning and delivery
  • Contribute to the development of new research projects in neuroscience, psychology, and other related fields

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronic Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. A flexible and positive attitude, with the ability to manage workload autonomously, is essential.
