Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Internal Sales Executive to join our team at SGS. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, networking, and referrals.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via regular communication and in-person meetings.
  • Provide customers with quotations and product information, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate the terms of sales agreements and close sales, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless customer service and support.
  • Update and maintain accurate records in our CRM system, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Requirements
  • Proven sales qualification or equivalent experience in a technical B2B environment.
  • Significant experience in a sales role, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience working in a performance-measured sales environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Full clean driving license for use in the UK.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant scientific, technical, or engineering discipline.
  • Project Management qualification, such as Prince2, Six Sigma, CAPM, or PMP.
  • Customer Service qualification, such as NVQ, Practitioner, or Institute of Customer Service.
  • Experience with budgeting and sales forecasting, with a proven track record of delivering results.
