At Teaching Personnel, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students who exhibit behavioural challenges, promoting positive behaviour, emotional well-being, and engagement in learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalised behaviour management plans to support students.
- Provide 1:1 support or small group interventions for students with behavioural challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage social interaction and help students develop their social and emotional skills.
- Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school or similar setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience with a passion for supporting vulnerable students.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed.
