Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer - Safety Specialist to lead the development of functional safety cases for submarine systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in safety analysis and management, with experience in leading small teams and delivering complex safety projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development of functional safety cases for submarine systems
  2. Manage the production of safety documentation and reports
  3. Conduct complex safety analysis using techniques such as Fault Tree analysis and Event Tree Analysis
  4. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure safety requirements are met
Requirements:

Essential:

  1. STEM Degree or relevant experience in safety analysis and management
  2. Leadership experience in a small team
  3. Delivering complex safety projects

Desirable:

  1. Previous experience in submarine safety
  2. Knowledge of complex control systems
