Project Lead Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Lead to join our Operations team in Royston. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of our Engineered to Order (ETO) specialist X-ray inspection equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with customers to develop and validate technical specifications and project plans.
  • Support the Safeline X-ray Sales teams by creating detailed quotations for identified solutions.
  • Coordinate solution development from initial concept proposal through to fully validated product.
  • Manage project timing plans, ensuring timely delivery and effective change management.
  • Provide customers with comprehensive documentation, including user manuals and technical guides.
  • Act as the single point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the business.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Results-driven approach with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and budgets.
  • Desirable experience in the Manufacturing industry, with knowledge of Robust Design and Systems Engineering principles.
  • Experience in designing and integrating complex electro-mechanical products.
