Job Title: Head of Laboratory

Reed Scientific is seeking a skilled Laboratory Equipment Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and qualification of analytical and production equipment across our client's business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Equipment Team's schedule to ensure timely routine maintenance and ad-hoc repairs.
  • Carry out or delegate reactive repairs and qualification to lab equipment, minimising downtime and monitoring performance against KPIs.
  • Support projects, including equipment relocation and procurement.
  • Review and approve qualification data and ensure compliance with QMS records.
  • Provide management updates on team performance, equipment issues, and project progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with a range of laboratory equipment, particularly HPLC.
