ASOS is seeking a professional with expertise in chemical management and corporate responsibility to join our team as a Sustainability Compliance Specialist. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to drive business initiatives related to ZDHC compliance, chemical surveillance, and animal welfare training programs.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business initiatives related to ZDHC compliance.
- Design and deliver chemical compliance and animal welfare training programs.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against established benchmarks.
- Communicate compliance summaries to key stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with retail teams to ensure product labeling meets compliance standards.
- Anticipate and respond to regulatory changes related to chemical management and labeling.
- Provide support to sustainability teams with certificate checking and supplier engagement.
This role requires a degree-level qualification, preferably in sustainability, environmental science, or business administration. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
Benefits:Competitive salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include employee discount, personal development opportunities, and more.
