Job Title: Group Manager Adolescent Safeguarding

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Lewisham to fill a Group Manager Adolescent Safeguarding position on a 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension. If you're interested, please submit your CV for immediate consideration.

Job Summary:

This role involves providing senior-level management within a designated service area, supporting and guiding operational line management reports, and providing senior-level management cover within the Service Unit or across the Division as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide senior-level management within a designated service area.
  • Support and guide operational line management reports.
  • Provide senior-level management cover within the Service Unit or across the Division as required.
  • Work with internal and external partners to ensure high-quality, value-for-money services are delivered to support vulnerable children and their families.
  • Ensure the business plan for the Department relating to the designated service area is delivered and updated at the required frequency.
  • Contribute to the delivery of best practice and best value through the establishment of effective systems, targets, and performance management that encourages innovative and creative approaches to service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Social Work qualification.
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Successful background of consistent achievement at management level in a local authority.
Important Notes:
  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You should have the right to work in the U.K.
  • This role requires a basic DBS.
