Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at the Stephen Wiltshire Centre. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with disabilities and complex needs. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver Short Breaks for children, ensuring their needs are met and they have a positive experience.

You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting the children's independence, social skills, and overall well-being. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. If you have a good understanding of child development, are able to work independently, and have a flexible approach to your work, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to children with disabilities and complex needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote children's independence and well-being
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless delivery of care services
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
