About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Children's Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our community nursing service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and young people with nursing needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide family-centered nursing care to children and young people with a range of nursing needs, including acute and short-term conditions, long-term conditions, disabilities, and complex health conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other healthcare professionals to support the care of children and young people within their homes, schools, and wider community.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of community nursing services that promote health, prevent illness, and reduce healthcare inequalities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation of community nursing services.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a valid nursing registration.
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., community nursing, pediatric nursing).
  • Experience working with children and young people with nursing needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
