Job Title: Health and Safety Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Lead to join our team at Phyllis Tuckwell, a charity that delivers exceptional care to people living with advanced or terminal illnesses in West Surrey and North-East Hampshire.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for staff and patients.
  • Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the education team to develop and deliver health and safety training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Recognized professional qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, such as the NEBOSH Diploma.
  • Proven experience in health and safety, ideally in a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
