We are seeking a skilled Crane Engineer to join our client's expanding team in Manchester. As a Crane Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, maintenance, and modernisation of all types of overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
The Role- Inspect and maintain overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Repair and replace faulty components, including electrical and mechanical parts.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication and cleaning, to prevent equipment failure.
- Modernise and upgrade existing equipment to improve efficiency and safety.
- Work at heights responsibly and adhere to health and safety protocols.
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering.
- Heavy industrial plant mechanic experience is preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good interpersonal skills for customer relations.
- Ability to work at heights responsibly.
