Job Title: Senior Building Surveyor

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our team in Newcastle. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a full suite of building surveying duties, including project management, contract administration, and client relationship management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building surveying, with experience in managing client relationships and dealing with legal and technical issues. You will be able to work collaboratively within a vibrant team and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working across a number of projects in different sectors and providing a range of building surveying / project management duties.
  • Assisting with the development of new and repeat business.
  • Managing the client relationship and service delivery on a project by project basis in conjunction with senior colleagues.

Requirements:

  • BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying RICS Accredited degree or similar.
  • Full member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, MCIOB or similar.
  • Ability to demonstrate good all-round surveying experience and be client facing with work winning skills.
  • Experienced in project design, leading multidisciplinary refurbishment and extension projects, up to c£1m capex.
  • Experience of both pre and post contract project management responsibilities and be able to deliver this service effectively to Clients.
