Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate driver to join our team as a Transport Assistant for Vulnerable Children. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting special needs or vulnerable children/adults to their destinations in a safe and timely manner.


Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position ranges from £486.20 to £972.40 per month, depending on the route. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of experience required for the role.


Key Responsibilities and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transporting special needs or vulnerable children/adults to their destinations in a safe and timely manner.
  • Working in a flexible manner to support the company's operation and ensure seamless transportation services.
  • Establishing positive relationships with passengers, carers/parents, and key personnel at the establishments they attend.

Requirements:

  • Holding a valid UK driving license.
  • Being able to drive company-supplied vehicles, including cars, 8-seat people carriers, and larger wheelchair-accessible vehicles (car license).
  • Passing an enhanced criminal record check to work with children, young persons, and/or vulnerable adults.
  • Complying with licensing standards by having a Group 2 medical.
  • Having the right to work in the UK.
