Job Description

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Director to join their team in a leading accountancy practice in North Kent. This multi-sited firm is looking for a professional who can manage a client portfolio, oversee and manage all aspects of client service delivery, and provide exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a client portfolio including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and individuals
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of client service delivery, including preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, and CIS
  • Liaise with clients on accounts and tax issues as required
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed with progress and maintaining regular contact with them
  • Review work completed by junior team members and resolve all issues prior to submission
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Develop, retain, and motivate junior members of staff and assist in the management of the overall day-to-day running of the practice
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent with at least 2-3 years of post-qualification experience
  • Proven experience of working in a practice environment
  • Experience in managing a client portfolio
  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Experience of using cloud-based accounting software packages, such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks
  • Experience of TaxCalc or a similar accountancy software desirable but not essential
