Residential Support Worker

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Support Worker in our client schools.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students by providing them with the care, guidance, and support they need to thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional and practical support to students, helping them with daily routines and activities.
  • Monitor the well-being of students and provide appropriate interventions when necessary.
  • Work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure the holistic development of each student.
  • Support students in developing independence and life skills.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Residential Support Worker or in a similar role is desirable.
  • A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
  • An updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
