About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICA Technician to join our team in the water industry. As an ICA Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned maintenance, as well as some minor installations on water, wastewater, and network water sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out multi-skilled approach to maintenance activities
  • Perform reactive and planned maintenance, as well as minor installations on water, wastewater, and network water sites
  • Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments
  • Use your own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities
  • Liaise closely with our control hub to ensure efficient response to all works
  • Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out to ensure our client is kept up to date
  • Pro-actively identify and report follow on works
  • Carry out all works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards
  • Undertake a range of electrical works, including planned maintenance, fault finding, and cause diagnosis
  • Assist any other trade as required
  • Deal with a variety of clients on a daily basis and represent the company in a professional manner
  • Work unsupervised in a large geographical area and prioritize workload
  • Provide regular out of hours cover by participating in an on-call rota

About You

We are looking for an experienced ICA Technician with a recognized Electrical, ICA Craft, or Technician apprenticeship. You should have 12 months of experience in providing call out services and a full UK driver's license. Desirable criteria include experience in ICA planned and reactive maintenance activities in the water industry, working around confined spaces, and holding a registered CSCS/CSR card.
