Job Title: Senior Assessment Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our assessment delivery team at Pearson. As a Senior Assessment Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our assessment delivery system, ensuring it is modern, effective, and supports the success of our learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely delivery of contracted units/modules/components.
  • Update mark schemes/guidance before pre-standardisation meetings, taking into account candidate responses and supervisor/examiner feedback.
  • Mark live candidates' responses as part of quality assurance, where required.
  • Monitor supervisors/examiners' progress.
  • Act as senior point of escalation across quality assurance process.
  • Submit reports on series/candidate performance.
  • Provide support and written responses to complaints, where required.

Requirements:
  • Experience and knowledge of quality assurance and assessment practice.
  • Proven ability to lead/support essential quality assurance activities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and requirements.
  • Report writing skills within a regulated industry.

Estimated Salary: £67,500 per annum, depending on experience.
