Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Assessment Specialist to join our team at Pearson. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the quality assurance and assessment delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acting as a senior point of escalation across the quality assurance process, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Undertaking accompanied ad hoc moderation/examination visits where necessary, ensuring consistency and fairness.
  • Submitting detailed reports on the performance of candidates/series, marking, and moderating responses.
  • Supporting the resolution of complaints, providing evidence and information as required.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience and knowledge of quality assurance and assessment practice.
  • Proven ability to lead/support essential quality assurance activities, with examples to demonstrate expertise.

Estimated Salary: £52,500 - £62,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
