Job Title: Cleaning Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Manager to join our team at OCS, a leading facilities management company. As a Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations at our client's site in New Road, Rubery Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist with the cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms, as well as other ad hoc areas.
  • Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring that they are in good working order and sufficient for the needs of the site.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and rotas to ensure that the site is cleaned efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the site to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and security, to ensure that the site is maintained to a high standard.
  • Provide training and guidance to cleaning staff to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a cleaning management role, preferably in a facilities management company.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and protocols, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
