Job Title: Children's Residential Service Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our children's residential service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people.
  • Responsible for the strategic planning and day-to-day management of the residential service.
  • Working closely with other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support.
  • Acting as a positive role model to colleagues and children.
  • Responsible for mentoring staff, organizing work patterns, and facilitating care-focused training.
  • Protection, safeguarding, and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people.
  • Strong background working with children in a similar setting.
  • Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services.
  • Very strong understanding of legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience of budgets and financial management.
  • Full driving license is essential.
