Job Overview

Yodel is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Guard to join our Security Department in Wednesbury. As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and safety of our assets, people, processes, and site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of the perimeter and site assets to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Monitor CCTV systems to detect and respond to potential security threats.
  • Operate the warehouse sterile entrance area, ensuring that all staff are properly screened and cleared.
  • Respond to live incidents and contact relevant authorities as necessary.
  • Complete incident report logs and witness statements as required.
  • Investigate incidents using CCTV systems and communicate with frontline staff and the warehouse management team.
  • Communicate and enforce security procedures to staff members, reporting any breaches.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid SIA Licence.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Have experience working as part of a security team.
  • Be familiar with CCTV systems and have prior experience in their use.
  • Have a strong background in the security industry, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
