As a Clinical Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the delivery of the clinical pharmacy services, providing strategic leadership, and ensuring compliance with all relevant governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring that all clinical and non-clinical staff meet and exceed regulatory standards.
- Lead, manage, and develop clinical staff, ensuring their performance and growth align with business targets.
- Drive service development and innovation, continuously improving the quality and scope of services provided.
- Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory frameworks, conducting risk assessments and monitoring staff competencies.
- Manage operational processes including rota management, staff cover, performance reviews, and service audits.
- Analyse clinical/non-clinical data, creating reports and dashboards for senior leadership and board review.
- Support business planning and service development to contribute to the company's long-term success.
- Registered Clinical Pharmacist, Nurse Practitioner or Practice Manager with a minimum of 2 years' experience in primary care.
- Registered with the GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council) or NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) with good standing.
- Proven leadership and management experience in clinical operations, preferably within a primary care setting.
- Strong understanding of the Primary Care Network (PCN) Directed Enhanced Service (DES), General Medical Services (GMS), and Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and team performance effectively.
