We provide Financial Risk and Non-Financial Risk Services, as well as bespoke Research Services, to over 200 institutions and 10,000 stakeholders across banks and asset managers.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and experienced Python developer with exposure to Market risk domain for one of our Global Investment Banking Clients.
As a Python developer, you will work within an Agile team, writing requirements and specifications, developing strategic risk management and trading tools, and maintaining existing code for the Risk technology team.
Your primary task will be to help the bank design and enhance the strategic risk infrastructure for cross LOB CCAR and VAR full reval infrastructure development, from design to development and testing.
You will coordinate with market risk, front office, quants, and technology teams to understand the requirements and support modern agile software development methods.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing strategic risk management and trading tools using Python
- Maintaining existing code for the Risk technology team
- Designing and enhancing the strategic risk infrastructure for cross LOB CCAR and VAR full reval infrastructure development
- Coordinating with market risk, front office, quants, and technology teams to understand the requirements
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Additional qualification in Finance is desirable
- Excellent hands-on application development experience on Python
- Understanding of risk and pricing of Derivatives Product, market risk, VaR, CCAR
- Good Excel skills to create pricing sheets
- Experience in participating in end-to-end development lifecycle in a rigorous test-driven software development environment
- Experience of Agile software development process is desirable
