Job Description

We are seeking a talented Python developer with experience in Market risk domain to join our Global Investment Banking Client team. As a Python developer, you will work within an Agile team to write requirements and specifications, develop strategic risk management and trading tools, and maintain existing code for the Risk technology team.

Your primary task will be to help the bank design and enhance the strategic risk infrastructure for cross LOB CCAR and VAR full reval infrastructure development, from design to development and testing. You will coordinate with market risk, front office, quants, and technology teams to understand the requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Support modern agile software development methods
  • Develop strategic risk management and trading tools using Python
  • Maintain existing code for the Risk technology team
  • Coordinate with market risk, front office, quants, and technology teams
  • Design and enhance the strategic risk infrastructure for cross LOB CCAR and VAR full reval infrastructure development
Requirements
  • Master in Computer Science/Software Engineering
  • Additional qualification in Finance is desirable
  • Excellent hands-on application development experience on Python
  • Understanding of risk and pricing of Derivatives Product, market risk, VaR, CCAR
  • Good Excel skills to create pricing sheets
