Gynaecology Cancer Care Pathway Coordinator

NHS Scotland is a leader in delivering high-quality healthcare services with a strong commitment to equality and diversity. As a Full-Time Gynaecology Cancer Care Pathway Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role within the Specialist Nurse Team for Gynaecology Cancer Service.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience and knowledge of NHS processes and medical terminology, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and prioritisation skills. You will be an integral component of the patient pathway, co-ordinating the patients' journey from referral to treatment, and working closely with the Nurse Specialists and Clinical Team to ensure the pathway is managed effectively and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in partnership with a range of stakeholders, using your skills to support the team in improving the service and maintaining local/national databases. You will require good IT skills and be able to work to tight deadlines, negotiating with other departments as necessary.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week, over 5 days, Monday to Friday.
In this role, you will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
