We are a UK nationwide Property repair organisation operating within the Insurance and Property Industry for a number of years. Our company provides a bespoke property repair and damage mitigation service for both commercial and domestic properties.

Job Title: Estimator/Surveyor

As an Estimator/Surveyor, you will be handling a portfolio of buildings related losses working from a desk base and attending site visits to assess damage and prepare schedules of works.

Key Responsibilities:

\u2022 Manage your own portfolio of buildings losses - domestic and commercial properties
\u2022 Liaise with Insurers, Insurance Brokers, Adjusters, Clients and Contractors on a day to day basis
\u2022 Work from a desk base and attending site visits
\u2022 Assessing damage/loss, writing estimates, preparing schedules of works and organising contractors to carry out repairs
\u2022 Contractor management ensuring repair work is on track, compliant and working to industry standard
\u2022 Using Xactware and various IT technology to assess damage and price costings

About You:

\u2022 Experience of handling/dealing with building related losses
\u2022 Contractor experience - repair management
\u2022 Be able to write schedule of works or have knowledge of
\u2022 IT and technology driven
\u2022 Ideally experience of attending site visits assessing property damage
\u2022 Be comfortable with working from an office base 1 to 2 days per week
\u2022 A team player
\u2022 Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
\u2022 A full clean driving licence
