About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Global UK Healthcare Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of our UK Healthcare Team, working on projects in London and South East England, with opportunities to support healthcare projects throughout the UK and globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver projects from inception to completion, ensuring scope, contracts, programmes, change management, risk registers, budgets, and QA procedures are in place and maintained.
  • Raise the profile and reputation of the UK Healthcare Team.
  • Manage the design process through design workshops and leading project meetings.
  • Manage the progress of multi-disciplinary engineering advisory and design solutions by Ramboll's in-house teams and specialist sub-consultants.
  • Inspire and enthuse engineers and technicians on your projects.
  • Liaise with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings.
  • Manage sub-consultants as required, including Quantity Surveyors, Architects, and specialist designers.
  • Implement best practice procedures to enhance and maintain delivery of sustainable, zero-carbon, innovative, and quality advisory and design services.
  • Take responsibility for day-to-day management of all project activity, including monthly reports, minutes, MS Project programmes, and delivery of presentations.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience in the UK Healthcare sector, specifically in the building of hospitals within the UK. You should have a thorough understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360 and excellent project management skills, with the ability to run multiple projects of varying size and complexity.

You should also have experience of managing commercial processes on projects, understanding of project commercial and technical risks, procurement methods, and contract administration requirements. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in plain language, verbally and in writing.

Able to interrogate financial information and write high-quality reports, you should also be able to manage stakeholder requirements and communicate them back to project teams, both in the UK and across geographical borders.
