Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Install Engineer/Fitter to join our team at Protec Fire Detection PLC. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing commercial and residential sprinkler systems to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install commercial and residential sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Travel nationwide for installation projects, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Coordinate with the small works manager to schedule jobs and ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to plan installations, including scheduling and access requirements.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment is available on site, and provide timely paperwork detailing installations.

Qualifications
  • Essential:
    • Relevant experience in sprinkler system installation.
    • CSCS Card.
    • IPAF trained.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
    • Experience in fire protection systems.
Experience
  • Essential:
    • In installing commercial and residential sprinkler systems.
  • Desirable:
    • Ability to work with different pipe materials and fittings.
Skills/Abilities
  • Essential:
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
    • Flexibility to travel nationwide for projects.
    • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    • Strong problem-solving skills.
