We are seeking a skilled Shop Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Scunthorpe. As a Shop Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance work on equipment in our shops.
About the Role- This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered.
- We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role.
- The base location for this role is Scunthorpe and surrounding areas.
- Carrying out preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance work on equipment in our shops.
- Ensuring all on-site mechanical and electrical equipment is working as effectively and efficiently as possible.
- Carrying out regular maintenance work, day-to-day repair of shop equipment, electrical repairs, and modifications.
- Ensuring machine downtime is minimised whilst repairs are carried out for a group of approximately 80 shops.
- 17th Edition Electrician Qualification (ideally).
- Significant experience in installations, electrical repair, fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvements.
- Good organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and carry out a varied workload in all trades, on both equipment and property.
- A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Knowledge of Food Safety & SHE.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility in working hours (as may be required to work different shifts each week or asked to work overtime).
- IT skills including Microsoft 365; SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together.
