About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and empathetic individual to support young learners with special educational needs. As a SEN Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic, social, and emotional potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement tailored support plans, promoting inclusivity and accessibility in the classroom. You will also contribute to creating a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters resilience and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, enhancing their academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver lessons, adapting materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to parents and carers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A degree and/or CACHE Level 3 qualification (advantageous but not essential)
  • Experience supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to take on training and development opportunities
