Job Title: Head of Employment Law

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing hospitality company as their first Employment lawyer, leading all employment law matters across their UK, Ireland, and Germany operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance to the Executive Committee on employment-related matters.
  • Manage external legal providers and establish a new panel to optimise legal support while delivering cost efficiencies for the business.
  • Work closely with the Chief People Officer and other senior leaders to shape and implement people strategy, ensuring alignment with the business growth objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and the Executive Team, providing strategic counsel on employment-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in UK Employment Law, either as a Senior Associate in a law firm or in-house at a multi-site organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex legal concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with senior leadership and external legal partners.
