Make a positive impact in someone's life by supporting individuals in our East Fife services. The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Practitioner to join our team.

No prior experience in care is required, as you will receive comprehensive training from our award-winning learning & development team. This includes classroom-based sessions, e-learning, and the opportunity to shadow experienced Support Practitioners in their daily roles.

We will also finance and support you to achieve your SVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care in-house.

Our services cover various locations across East Fife, including East Fife, Levenmouth, Cupar, St Andrews, Buchhaven, Kirkcaldy, Leven, Anstruther, and Glenrothes.

You must hold a Full UK Driving License.

About the Role

  • Assisting individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various clubs and leisure activities.
  • Administering and monitoring medication.
  • Assisting people to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care, including assistance with showering/bathing, dressing, and arranging visits with professionals.
  • Helping people to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks, such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping.
