Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Environmental Conservation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating a range of machinery, particularly excavators, and will assist in the delivery of local projects, as well as being willing to work and stay away if required.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery, including excavators, dumpers, and various other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately.
- Engage in physical labour as necessary to support project goals.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Travel to various project sites as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machinery Operator, with a focus on excavator operation.
- Up-to-date excavator qualification and relevant certifications.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home if required (current requirements vary but can be 6 to 10 weeks/year).
- Valid UK driver's license.
- Experience in river and wetland restoration, construction, working in and around water and pond and lake construction.
