Environmental Advisor Job Description

Ganymede Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the environmental deliverables of projects are integrated into pre-contract, design, planning, construction, commissioning, and hand-back arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and determining the environmental deliverables of projects
  • Ensuring environmental integration into project arrangements
  • Providing specialist environmental support to project delivery teams
  • Leading on inspections, audits, and other assurance activities
  • Identifying trends and recommending preventative measures

About the Role:

The Environmental Advisor will work on high-profile projects across various industry sectors, including Highways, Rail, Aviation, Energy, Healthcare, and Retail. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental and social contract requirements, standards, and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in developing, implementing, and assuring project-specific environmental management plans
  • Knowledge of environmental and social contract requirements, standards, and guidance
  • Ability to produce contract statistical environmental information and undertake environmental audits
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
