Job DescriptionThis Carer Peer Support Specialist role has been developed specifically for people who have experience of caring for a friend or family member experiencing mental distress.
The successful candidate will inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others by sharing their own experiences and supporting carers directly.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £26,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Main Duties- Support carers directly and provide guidance on how to cope with caring responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with service provider teams to ensure seamless care
- Contribute to service delivery and participate in regular team meetings
