Maintenance Surveyor

Andersen James Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Surveyor to join their team in the Southeast region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building surveying and maintenance, with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a responsive repair and void surveying service for a housing organisation
- Manage repairs, analyse building defects, and prepare specifications
- Ensure all properties meet high maintenance standards while complying with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, residents, leaseholders, and property owners
- Monitor contractor performance, conduct health and safety checks, and manage complaints
- Accurately update records and maintain a high level of technical knowledge of construction and building regulations
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a building surveyor in maintenance
- In-depth knowledge of construction, building regulations, and health and safety legislation
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong contract and budget management skills
- Ability to produce detailed work specifications and analyse building defects
- Full driving licence
