Job SummaryThis role offers an opportunity to work in one of the most challenging yet rewarding areas for healthcare professionals – secure environments.
You will provide high-quality assessment and interventions for adults within the prison and immigration removal centres across Health in Justice using evidence-based interventions.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Speech and Language Therapist, you will:
- Provide high-quality assessment and interventions for adults within the prison and immigration removal centres
- Undertake clinical sessions and manage a caseload as required
- Function as an autonomous clinician with a role in supporting delivery of the model and providing support to other parts of the workforce
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
- Current HCPC qualification
- Established experience of pathway development and change management
- Experience working within a large multidisciplinary team, ideally across multiple sites/locations
- Health Professions Council Licence to Practice
