Job Title: Chief Financial Strategist

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Strategist to join their team on an interim basis for approximately 9-12 months. This full-time, site-based contract will be located at the company's headquarters near Penryn, with convenient onsite parking.

• Maintain robust accounting protocols and internal controls to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant reporting standards to provide accurate and timely financial information.
• Identify and implement ongoing improvements to the finance function to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Serve as a key point of contact for external stakeholders and major suppliers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Prepare and deliver detailed management accounts to facilitate informed business decisions.
• Manage the payroll function, focusing on strategic planning and oversight rather than administrative tasks.
• Liaise regularly with investors and internal stakeholders to maintain open communication and foster strong relationships.

We are looking for a seasoned and professionally qualified Finance Manager (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent by vocational experience, who possesses a solid background in supervising staff, preparing financial reports, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and budgetary controls. A natural leadership style and ability to motivate teams are essential for success in this role.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000, commensurate with experience. The exact compensation package will be discussed during the hiring process.
